Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has started getting One UI 2.1 update in India. The new update comes with the June 2020 Android security patch and brings a list of new features for Galaxy Note 9 users. Samsung had earlier last week delivered the One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy Note 9 users in Germany. The update has now reached South Korea with all the features supplied to the Indian market. Remember, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was launched in August 2018 with Android 8.1 Orio-based Samsung Experience UX The phone received an update to One UI 2.0 which came with Android 10 in December last year.

The latest software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 brings the build number N960FXXXU5ETF5, according to a change posted on the Samsung mobile portal. It comes with Android Protection Patch by June 2020. Samsung did not mention any details about Change One UI 2.1. However, it is a new UI version with features including an updated camera app with its Zone, Single Tech, Pro Video, My Filters, Selfie Tone and an enhanced night mode.

The new software release brings updated AR emojis to the Galaxy Note 9 with enhancements such as manual editing and enhanced facial expression recognition. It is important to mention that since there is an updated AR Emoji version, all previously saved AR Emoji characters will be deleted after you open the new app.

Samsung has provided an advanced gallery with an multilingual translation feature and an updated keyboard. The update also brings a quick share feature that allows users to quickly share their files between nearby Samsung devices. Additionally, users have music sharing features to easily share their music tracks with friends.

The new update of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is more than 1.3GB in size. You should connect to a stable Wi-Fi network before starting the download process.
